OHL Awards include nominees from the North Bay Battalion

Marcus McIvor is one of three players, and a coach, on the North Bay Battalion who have been nominated for an OHL Award.

The North Bay Battalion are front and centre for some of the OHL’s top honours.

Coach Stan Butler has been nominated as coach of the year, Captain Marcus McIvor as overage player of the year, Brenden Miller as defenseman of the year and Nick Paul as player of the year.

The awards ceremony goes June 9th at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, however award recipients will be announced periodically throughout the OHL Playoffs.
