It’s the time of year when golfers start to think about teeing it up for the season.

Two area golf courses will be open Wednesday.

Both Osprey Links and Pinewood say they’ll have holes open Wednesday: 9 at Pinewood and 18 at Osprey.

The other 9 at Pinewood should be open by Monday.

The driving range at pinewood is already open. Highview is planning a May 8th opening day while Clear Springs in Chisholm is setting May 9th as their beginning to the season.
