City Police have charged a 43 year old male with several offenses following a confrontation with a skateboarder.  Police say the man has been charged with assault, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and breach.

Police say a male was driving southbound on Cassells at Olive when he came up behind a skateboarder.  Police say the driver yelled at the skateboarder to get off the road, and then cut him off causing the skateboarder to jump onto to the hood of a vehicle to avoid getting hit.

The driver then continued driving with the skateboarder on top of his vehicle and tried to shake him off the hood. Then the driver got out of his vehicle and punched the skateboarder several times before fleeing.
