Police chief retiring in early 2016

That’s Police Chief Paul Cook who has announced his retirement. Cook will be retiring after 11 years as chief.

Cook says he feels he has served very proudly for 34 years.

Mayor Al McDonald says Cook has been a champion for the city of North Bay.

He was asked what the process is in finding a new Police Chief.

Cook says his final day on the job will be in January. Cook says the partnerships with the community are something he is most proud of in his time as Chief.
