hospitalThe North Bay Regional Health Centre is one of 18 hospitals in the province which will take part in a national program.

It is the National Surgery Quality Improvements Program, and the Chief of Surgery says they are excited to be a part of it.

Dr. Ravinder Singh says the local hospital will collect clinical data with the ultimate goal to improve surgical outcomes for patients.

Singh says this is great news for the local hospital and he talked about some of the reasons North Bay was chosen.

Singh says the model at the hospital is “more time to care” which continues this improvement philosophy.
