15th annual Carousel Evening goes tonight at SJSH

“Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies, Healthy Kids.”

That’s the theme of the 15th annual free carousel evening of learning and sharing being hosted by the Nipissing Parry Sound Catholic Board’s Special Education Advisory Committee and the Parent Involvement Committee.

The event tonight in the auditorium at St Joseph-Scollard Hall begins at 6 pm with a special keynote address from Nipissing University’s Dr Julie Corkett.

There’s also 11 workshops with a focus on special education, including topics like Dealing with Challenging Behaviours, Self-Regulating Tips and Tricks, Building Healthy Relationships and more.
