Plenty of items up for grabs in the annual city police public auction

The North Bay Police Service is holding a popular event tomorrow (Saturday).

It’s their annual bicycle and property public auction.

Corporate Communications Coordinator Marie Lugli says there’s a preview of items at 8 am, with the auction beginning at 9 am.

She says it involves unclaimed items that come into the police service, including everything from found bicycles to seized tools, clothing and more.

The auction takes place in the rear parking lot of the city police headquarters at 135 Princess Street West. Proceeds go to the North Bay Police Services Board, which donates funds to local charities and events.
