OPP update investigation after remains of Waterloo man located last week

OPP report foul play is not suspected, at this time, after the remains of a Waterloo man were found in northeastern Ontario last week.

Daniel Robert Trask was reported missing in November 2011.

He was 28 years old at the time.

Temiskaming OPP previously said the remains were found near Lady Evelyn Lake in Medina Township after a call was received on May 25th.

They were located by a search party organized by the family of the missing man.

Police say the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit concluded their search on Sunday.

The investigation continues.
