OUA hockey and basketball schedules announced

The OUA hockey schedule for next season has been released.

The Nipissing Lakers men’s team open on home ice Saturday October 3rd against RMC.

The women also play that day at Memorial Gardens, opening their season against Laurentian.

The women play 24 games while the men have 28 games scheduled.

Meantime, the sophomore season for the Nipissing Lakers basketball program has been scheduled.

Both the men’s and women’s teams play 19 regular season games. They both begin the season with two games in the nations capital, November 6th against Ottawa and the 7th against Carleton.

Their home openers are Friday November 13th against York.
