capitolcentre280x160The Capitol Centre is back with summer camps this year. Marketing Manager Katelyn Ricci says they have two different ones this year and one has a new name.  Ricci says it is called the Downtown Theatre Camp because there will be activities in the theater but also downtown.

Ricci says there will be all kinds of things for kids to do including playing games, crafts, improv, sign language, movie watching, creative writing, field trips and workshops. She says there are four sessions in the Theatre Camps- two are for two weeks and they start on July 13th and August 4th.

The other two are for one week and their dates are from July 6th-10th and 27th-31st. The cost is 150 dollars for the 1 week and 300 for the two week variety. Meantime, there’s also a visual art camp hosted by the WKP Kennedy Gallery. Ricci says there are four different camps-Arts in The Park, Learn from the Masters, Artful Antics and Around the World.

Ricci says each of those camps cost 150 dollars. She says there are some subsidized spots available and there are also a specific number of sponsored spots for hearing impaired children. For more information contact the Capitol Centre.
