Theatre-Spotlight

The Passion Play looks at the relationship of arts, culture and religion over a span of five centuries.

Originally written by Sarah Ruhl, it looks at performances of the crucifixion of Christ set in different eras.

The Passion Play is a three part epic that will be performed by Canadore College’s Rep 21 theatre group starting July 22nd.

Director Rod Carley says the actors have to play a similar character but in different time

periods in history.

The performance takes place at the Capitol Centre and Carley says instead of charging admission they will collect financial donations for the Gathering Place of North Bay.
