Community Living wants to move

Community Living North Bay wants to be under 1 roof. They have a facility on Wallace Road known as F J Dellandrea Place but also are are spread out to three other locations downtown. Paul Goodridge is with Stantec Consulting.  He says they want to move the 30 staff downtown to Wallace Road. He says there would be cost savings and that money will go back into their operation.

The city staff is against the proposal as the official plan would have to be changed.

Goodridge says they are noit asking for the area to be rezoned but to have the permitted uses expanded. It’s currently zoned industrial.
