Two councillors present motions next week

Sheldon Forgette will bring forward an idea to council, to help with accessibility at the waterfront. The Deputy Mayor says he is hoping the city could implement a ramp system that would allow people with accessibility issues to access the sand and water area.  Forgette says they will be asking the CAO to look into the cost, the implementation and if it is a viable project for the waterfront. Meantime, Councillor Mike Anthony says his motion would have North Bay hold off on the implementation of the water meters until January.

He says he believes it will get the support needed, because they want the numbers to be right.

Anthony says his motion would see council stick with the flat rate until January 1st 2016.
