Voodoos_Newsletter_280One of the newcomers this year to the Powassan Voodoos is goalie Mario Cavaliere. He is competing for playing time with incumbent Garrett Forrest.  He says it promises to be quite the competition for playing time.

Cavaliere says he’s excitied about contributing, following the great playoff run the team had last season.

Cavaliere says he thinks he’ll be a good fit in the dressing room.

He says he models his game after Carey Price and he likes to play the puck and says he’s a butterfly style goalie.

Cavaliere says he and Garrett will be pushing each other on the ice so it’s a great competition. The Voodoos training camp started last week.

The regular season opener is September 11th in Noelville against French River.
