Chamber helping connect employers with potential employees

The Chamber of Commerce is taking an active role in helping employers find employees and vice versa.

President Jake Lacourse says they were hearing from their members that were jobs out there and no applicants, while people were saying there were no jobs available to apply for.

He says that’s why they decided to create a Facebook page to connect everyone.

Lacourse says they’ve had a really great response so far, with 800-plus job seekers and people posting jobs.

Jobseekers are also encouraged by the Chamber to talk with employment teams that can help them in their search and help them apply for these positions.
