City Hall is shut down, meaning council’s meeting will take place tomorrow.

Those businesses that open illegally can be fined between $500 and $50,000.

Meantime, there are exceptions including gas stations, convenience stores and tourist operators.

Also of note, there are no city transit buses running today and there’s no garbage or recycling pick-up either.

Regular pick-up is now delayed a day for the rest of the week.

Also of note, the landfill is also closed.
