carouselCustomer Appreciation Day is back at the Heritage Railway and Carousel on Saturday.

It means free rides all day on the popular waterfront attractions.

Volunteer Shift Captain Michael Puccini  says it’s their way to say thanks to the community for their support all summer long.

He also says there’s live music and face painting too.

Meantime, Puccini says it’s been a successful season so far — and it isn’t over yet.

They’re operating on weekends (Fridays from 4pm to dusk, Saturdays 10am to dusk and Sundays from 10am to dusk, weather permitting) through Thanksgiving and he says ticket sales so far this season have exceeded last year.

Puccini says they get a lot of local visitors, but plenty from out of town too.
