Voodoos Victorious in Season Opener

The Powassan Voodoos won yesterday after defeating the French River Rapids in Noelville.

The game consisted of lots of goal scoring with the Voodoos winning the game with a final score of 6-5. The Voodoos peppered the Rapids net and finished with 57 shots on net and Mario Cavaliere got the win for his team as he was able to make 20 saves in net.

The Voodoos will have their home opener on Monday against the Elliot Wild Cats. Puck drop is set for 7pm.
