Voodoos and Lakers on the ice while NDA senior football returns

The Powassan Voodoos and Nipissing Lakers women’s hockey teams are both in action tonight (Friday) while four local schools hit the field tonight for the return of NDA senior boys football. 

In the NOJHL, Powassan travels to Elliot Lake.

The Voodoos scored a 4-3 overtime win over the Wildcats on Monday in Powassan.

The Nipissing Lakers women’s hockey team has a pre-season game tonight (Fri).

They entertain Concordia at 7pm.

Meantime, the Nipissing men lost 7-2 to Laurentian last night in Sudbury.

And the NDA senior boys football season starts tonight at the Omischl Sports Complex.

The early game sees St. Joseph-Scollard Hall taking on Widdifield at 5 pm with West Ferris playing Algonquin at 7:30 pm.
