Community Living allowed to move downtown location to Wallace Road

City Council has approved a rezoning request which will allow Community Living to leave their downtown location.

Executive Director Jennifer Valenti says they are happy with the decision to move to Wallace Road.

She says the downtown location isn’t accessible, which is a major problem for many of the people they serve.

She says the new location is accessible, and rent free.

Candace Barry is a volunteer and her son uses the services. She says the Wallace Road location just made sense.

The relocation could take up to two years to finalize as they have to go through some design work first.
