Cook There were discussions related to programming, partnerships, road safety and more at the Town Hall event held by the North Bay Police Service.

The public had three opportunities to take part with one event in Callander on Monday, and two others in North Bay on Monday and yesterday.

Police Chief Paul Cook says there were only a few residents at Monday’s meeting in North Bay, and none at yesterdays. However, he says that isn’t a bad thing.

He says if people had issues they would’ve come out to take part in the Town Hall discussions.

Cook says the Police Service has always been very open and transparent and provided opportunities community engagement. Cook adds the police have a high satisfaction level within the community.
