Free WiFi in downtown North Bay closer to a reality

An update on a project to bring free WiFi to downtown North Bay.

North Bay Computer Doctors says they’ve partnered with several groups after their initial announcement and have many locations picked out.

They’re waiting for approval for one last partnership that would extend the WiFi range to the waterfront.

Once the business moves to 1272 Algonquin Avenue this fall they will begin testing equipment before deploying the project.

That could happen as soon as March 2016.
