Lots of Glitz and Gleam in North Bay on Friday

The Red Hatters are a worldwide organization and the local chapter is hosting their Glitz and Gleam in 2015 Convention this weekend.

Henriette Davis is the Queen Mother of the Scarlet Bears of North Bay and she says there will be members from all over Ontario and Alberta coming to Friday’s event.

She says part of their celebration on Friday is recognizing the the military.

She says many of the members are military wives or former service members and Davis says they respect and honor the military with the Red Friday theme.

Davis says they have a guest speaker from the base to come in and welcome the ladies to North Bay.

There will be other guest speakers throughout the weekend as well as themed dinners, music and more.
