About $10,000 worth of heroin taken off the streets in North Bay

Three city residents are facing drug charges as a result of an ongoing North Bay Police Street Crime investigation into heroin trafficking.

Police say a small amount of heroin was located in a vehicle while two search warrants resulted in about $10,000 worth of heroin being seized from a Second Avenue West home and a Hardy Street residence.

A 60 year old man is charged with two counts of trafficking heroin along with one count each of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

A 30 year old woman and 22 year old man are both charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
