voteWho will win the election? And what will happen afterwards?

That’s the theme of an election event tonight (Thursday) from 7 pm to 9 pm at Chippewa Secondary School.

The Rotary Club of Nipissing is hosting Professor Peter Loewen, who’s originally from North Bay.

He is an associate professor of political science at the University of Toronto and Director of the Centre for the Study of the United States at Munk School of Global Affairs.

He’ll share insights from the Local Parliament Project, which is currently studying the views of voters in this election.

It’s the largest ever study of Canadian public opinion.

There’s no admission cost, but officials say donations to the Rotary Foundation PolioPlus initiative would be appreciated.
