North Bay Police have released their results from Operation Impact over the Long Weekend.

Police say three motorists received 3 day license suspensions, there was 1 charge for possession of marijuana, 48 provincial offense notices were issued and that includes speeding and failing to yield , and there were 24-72 hour notices handed out and that’s for things like not having the proper plates, permits and identification.

There were no charges laid for distracted driving, not wearing seatbelts and impaired driving.

The operation was held in North Bay and Callander from last Friday to this Monday.
