Advance poll numbers up in Nipissing-Timiskaming

Nearly 3,400 more people in Nipissing-Timiskaming voted early in this Federal Election compared to the 2011 election.

Advance poll numbers for the riding show 9,711 people cast ballots over four days on the long weekend.

That’s up from 6,316 people in three days of advance polls in 2011.

Nationally, the increase was 71 percent this time around.
