pink in the rink winIt was pink in the rink night at Memorial Gardens on Thursday night and the Troops delighted the fans with a 5-1 win.

It didn’t look good in the first two periods, but a five goal outburst in the third propelled the Troops to a 5-1 win over Oshawa Thursday night.

The Battalion scored twice on the same penalty kill and added three more from Zach Bratina, who scored his second straight hat trick for North Bay.

Battalion Head Coach Stan Butler says it was an interesting game in the way it turned out.

The win for their Troops was their fourth straight and Butler was asked about the run they are on.

Mike Amadio, and Mark Shoemaker got the other goals. The Battalion are back in action tonight as they visit Sudbury. Catch the game on 101.9 The Fox, broadcast time is 6:35pm
