Battalion on Country 600_210The North Bay Battalion are no longer on a winning streak.

They saw their 4 game winning streak end on Friday as they fell 3-1 in Sudbury to the Wolves.  

Zach Bratina scored for the Troops who are now 4-4 on the season.

The Troops outshot the Wolves 38-22.
Meantime, the Battalion will be front and center during Rogers Hometown Hockey.

The team mascot Sarge will be outside the Discovery North Bay Museum on Saturday from noon to 6 and then on Sunday the host of Rogers Hometown Hockey Ron MacLean will take part in the ceremonial puck drop before the Troops play Niagara at 3.

The players will then be at Discovery North Bay at 7 to be part of the evenings activities.

There will be a meet and greet and an autograph signing session.

Following that head coach Stan Butler will be interviewed by MacLean during the live broadcast on Sportsnet 1 and Sportsnet 360 which starts at 8:30.
