Election results

Liberal Anthony Rota is heading back to Ottawa.

He won the 2015 Federal Election in Nipissing-Timiskaming handily.

All 208 polls have reported, with Rota securing 51.7% of the ballot, or 25,281 votes.

Conservative incumbent Jay Aspin was next with 14,320 votes.

 

Kathleen Jodouin was third with 7,992 votes.

Nicole Peltier was fourth with 1,277 votes.

Voter turnout was 69.01%, the highest it’s been since in Nipissing-Timiskaming since the 1988 election when it was 74%.
