Amelia Rising logo Everyone has the right to walk safely at night; that’s the message from Amelia Rising Sexual Assault Centre Executive Director Brenda Quenneville.

She says they plan to promote that message through their annual “Take Back the Night” rally – which takes place tomorrow (Wednesday).

Quenneville says everyone needs to work together to create a safe community.

She says the goal is to empower the community in advocating for the elimination of sexual and domestic violence both locally and globally.

Quenneville says the solidarity march begins at 6pm at the Oak Street city bus terminal and there will be a small reception at Amelia Rising Centre on Worthington Street East.
