Plaid Shirt Society event to benefit the North Bay Food Bank

A charity fundraising event in memory of a former West Ferris student goes Saturday night.

Nick Klassen died suddenly in October 2009 from complications due to the H1N1 virus.  He was 23 years old.

The 5th annual fundraiser by the Plaid Shirt Society is supporting the North Bay Food Bank.

The event is taking place at the Raven and Republic and includes live local music, food, door prizes and a silent auction.

Tickets are $10 at the door or donations can be made at plaidshirt.org
