North Bay PoliceNorth Bay Police report two Ottawa men are facing several charges and $10,000 in drugs were seized after a traffic stop Thursday.

Police say the arrests were made following a Street Crime Unit Controlled Drugs and Substances Act investigation and a traffic stop at Hwy 11 and Hwy 17 shortly after 7 pm.

Both men face one count each of possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine pills along with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.

A 31 year old man was held in custody pending a bail hearing while a 55 year old man was released with a court appearance scheduled for November 24th.

Police say 13.5 grams of marijuana, 6 methamphetamine pills and 84 grams of cocaine were seized.
