Seniors Health and Wellness Fair on Thursday

The Marina Point Village Retirement Home is the site of a health and wellness fair on Thursday.

The marketing manager at the facility is Becky Bosselle.

She says there will be many health professionals in attendance at the various booths including Shoppers Drug Mart, Medi-Gas, the CNIB, the Canadian Cancer Society and Eyes on Main.

The clinics include a blood pressure clinic, one on free hand waxing, there will be blood sugar testing, eye and hearing specialists and  professionals dedicated to orthodics and dentures and others.

Bosselle says this is their 3rd annual event dedicated to health and wellness and the attendance has been great the first 2 years.

Thursday’s event goes from 1-3:30 and there will be prizes as well.
