Soggy forecast for Wednesday with strong winds expected Thursday

The remnants of Hurricane Patricia are bearing down on the area, bringing lots of rain and strong winds.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for tomorrow (Wednesday) and Thursday, with upwards of 20 to 40 millimetres of rain expected.

Officials say the rain will be heavy at times tomorrow before tapering to showers on Thursday. We can also expect thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon and evening.
