The North Bay Battalion have snapped their three game losing streak with a 3-2 overtime win over the Ottawa 67’s last night (Thursday).

Zach Poirier scored the game winner on the power play in the extra period.

Battalion Head Coach Stan Butler says the biggest thing he takes from the game is the fact his team found a way to win.

Miles Liberati and Mike Amadio also scored for the Troops.

Jake Kment has his first win of the season as he was called upon to make 23 saves with a couple of main guys out of the lineup; including number one goalie Jake Smith.
Kment was asked how it felt to get into his first game of the season

Kment is undefeated in his OHL career sporting a 7-0-0-0 record between the last two years.

North Bay is back in action tonight (Friday) as they visit Kitchener to play the Rangers – broadcast time on Country-600 CKAT is 7:05 pm.
