Pinewood Public School Should Be Open By September 2016

Chair of the Near North District School Board Dave Thompson says it’s something parents and students should be excited about. The Chair of the Near North Board says they followed the footprint of the Parry Sound School and everyone down there is thrilled with the result.

Thompson says the construction of the new school in North Bay is moving along well.

Thompson says the roof should be going on soon and then work will continue on the inside for the winter months.

This school will amalgamate the students from King George, JW Trussler and Doctor MacDougall.

Thompson says if you haven’t been by the site in a while, it’s certainly worth a look.
