Voodoos_Newsletter_280The Powassan Voodoos impressive win streak has come to an end.

After 14 straight victories, the Voodoos lost 3-1 in Kirkland Lake yesterday (Sunday).

Coach Scott Wray says he’s very proud of the team for what they’ve accomplished.

“Now we all can take a deep breath and just play. Now it’s time to start a new streak and get better every day,”

Ranked number one in Canada for the past three weeks, Powassan was the last remaining unbeaten team in the 131-team CJHL.

Next up, the Voodoos are on the road to Chelmsford to play Rayside-Balfour this coming Saturday.
