Bears advance in NDA junior football, NDA hockey season starts tonight

In NDA junior football, St Joseph-Scollard Hall shutout Northern 45-0 on Tuesday.

Parker Raymond and Trey Anthony had two touchdowns each while three other Bears (Payton McLeod, Ben Ouellette and Connor Russo) had singles and Matteo Pavone scored 3 converts.

The Bears advance to the NDA semi-finals Saturday against Franco Cite.

That game goes at 2pm at Cundari Field.

Meantime, the NDA high school hockey season gets underway tonight (Wednesday) with a double header.

Franco Cite plays Chippewa at 6 pm at West Ferris Arena, followed by St. Joseph-Scollard Hall against Algonquin at 7:30 pm.
