Wine Gala back on Saturday for a 19th year!

The Capitol Centre will be hosting its 19th annual wine gala tomorrow (Saturday) and guests can expect this year’s event to have more variety and entertainment.

Canadian Rock Icon David Wilcox is on stage at 7:30 PM and then guests will have the chance to dance, play games, and sample some food and drinks from the local area.

Katelyn Ricci is the marketing manager at the Capitol Centre and she say’s this year’s event will be different, in a good way.

“It’s got the silent auction, it’s got the wine and the beer,” says Ricci who noted that the beer will be the big attraction this year.

“There’s so much beer, it’s outnumbered the wine this year, 8-5. And it’s just all the micro-breweries that has sprouted up in North Bay.”
