The West Ferris 63s U16A ringette team won a silver medal over the weekend at a tournament in St. Catharines.

With the tying goal called back late in the third, the 63s lost 3-2 to a team from Forrest in the final, the only team they lost to in round robin play.

Earlier in the season the local team won gold at a tournament in Oshawa.
