Screenshot_2015-11-26-16-33-01(FILE PHOTO) Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the North Bay area, involving tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday).

Officials say there’s a risk of freezing rain tomorrow afternoon.

They also say it’s possible that any freezing rain that does occur could take several hours to change over to rain.

The area most likely to see freezing rain appears to be a swath of Northeastern Ontario from Chapleau to Kirkland Lake and Temagami.

Environment Canada says their meteorologists will continue to monitor this situation closely and issue a freezing rain warning if required.
