lipi donation Over the course of the year Residents of the Empire Living Centre have been busy knitting hats, scarves, mitts and baby clothes.

They have made close to 600 items in total, and have now donated them to the Low Income People Involvement of Nipissing.LIP will give them out to residents in need this holiday season.

LIPI Executive Director Lana Mitchell says in a release “it’s great that (the residents) make things in all sizes and various ages. Many people think of the smallest children in need, but you think of everyone with these items.”
