North Bay Police There were 225 calls for service and 19 people arrested over the weekend by North Bay Police.

Charges were laid for robbery using a firearm, trafficking Marijuana, breach of probation, criminal harassment, sexual touching, sexual interference, assault with a weapon, public intoxication and more.

(Robbery Charges)

North Bay Police report two males from the city have been arrested and charged following an investigation into a robbery. Police say they received a call just after 1pm on Friday with the complainant reporting a robbery which took place earlier in the day.

It is alleged three men met a male victim on the property of a high school on O’Brien Street with an arrangement to sell marijuana.

When the victim presented his cash to buy the drug, he was threatened with a replica gun, assaulted and robbed.

The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries. 19 year old Dustin Seddon and 26 year old Joseph Willett are charged with robbery using firearm, trafficking marijuana under 3kilograms and breach of probation.

Police have requested a warrant for the arrest of a third suspect.

(Criminal Harassment)

A 29-year old Commanda, Ontario man is charged with one count of criminal harassment and one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle by North Bay Police.

Police say the accused harassed a female at her workplace in North Bay on October 30th, and again at a restaurant in the city on December 4th. The victim is in an estranged relationship with the accused.

It is also alleged on December 3rd the accused followed the victim from her residence to Birches Road in a vehicle.During the trip, the accused moved into oncoming lanes of traffic three times, pulled alongside her vehicle and yelled at her to pull over.

The victim was able to drive away unharmed. In order to protect the identity of the victim, North Bay Police will not be releasing the name of the accused.

(Stabbing/robbery investigation)

Three males are facing charges after a police investigation into an assault case last month.

Police say around 10pm on November 25th at Ferris Lions Park on Massey Drive, an 18-year old male was physically assaulted, stabbed and robbed of the marijuana he had pre-arranged to sell to the accused. He suffered non-life threatening injuries and last Saturday, police executed a search warrant and charged and arrested three people.

19 year old Dustan Trevor Lee Tessier of North Bay is charged with one count of robbery with violence, one count of assault with a weapon, one count of aggravated assault and one count of possession of marijuana.

19 year old Stuart Parker Olimer Nichols of North Bay is charged with one count of robbery with violence, one count of possession of marijuana and one count of breach or probation.

A 17 year old male is charged with one count of robbery with violence, one count of assault with a weapon and two other charges.

(Sexual interference)

A 76 year old North Bay male is facing charges of invitation to sexual touching and one count of sexual interference.

Police say it is alleged on Saturday, around 1:45pm the accused approached a child unknown to him in a thrift store on Lakeshore Drive.

Police say he sexually assaulted her and then asked her to touch him.

A family member overheard the conversation and was able to stop him from further abuse and the accused immediately left the store and drove away.

Maurice Lefebvre is facing two charges.
