Nipissing Lakers sign defenseman for next season

Another signing for the Nipissing Lakers Womens Hockey program. 

Kirsten MacDougall has committed to the university and will be in the concurrent education program when school starts up next fall.

She’s a defenseman from Bracebridge and currently plays for Durham in the PWHL.

She says she was really excited when coach Darren Turcotte offered her a spot with the program.

She says she is a stay at home defenseman who isn’t afraid to play physical hockey and she rushes the puck up the ice too although occasionally.
