North Bay residents helping send unique and needed gifts to developing countries

It’s no secret that North Bay residents like to give.

Further proof is statistics from World Vision Canada.

They say 23,000 people purchased from their gift catalogue last year in Ontario and 128 of those people were from North Bay.

The catalogue includes various items that support children and families in developing countries.

Genevieve Barber is Manager of Communications at World Vision Canada.

She says there are several items that people can purchase including livestock, stocking a classroom or feeding children.

Barber says the total value of the North Bay contribution was $19,000.
