Coach4 Food this year has collected over 30 tons of food for food banks in the area

Contributions from several teams and individuals have upped the Coach4Food total for this year locally to over 30 tons. 

The latest amount is 61 Thousand, 371 Pounds . 

Earlier this week,  Coach4Food announced they had reached the 1 Million Pound figure in the first 10 years of the fundraising initiative. 

It started in North Bay and has now spread to other OHL cities. 

This is Tom Hedican’s last year of involvement but it will continue through the OHL and the Shutout Hunger program. 

Among the teams making contributions lately: The Trappers Trading Post Marten River Atoms, The Bay Elevator Peewee Ice Boltz, The Bantam A Ice Boltz, The Atom Kendall Trappers, The Atom A Ice Boltz and the Hockey For Beginners Program.
