Coach4Food

Earlier this week we told you Tom Hedican’s Coach4Food program surpassed the one-million pound mark in donations.

Most of that was collected in North Bay with other cities getting involved in recent years.

This was Hedican’s final year with the program.  But, he says that doesn’t mean the program is wrapping up.

He says it will continue through the North Bay Battalion locally and with teams in other OHL cities, sustaining what was started here in North Bay.

Hedican says the program is different than a lot of other charities and it’s become a vehicle for people to easily do something good for their community or their food bank.

Coach4Food involves hockey practices being given in exchange for food donations.
