NEW opp policeDuring the North Bay OPP’s RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) campaign, officers charged a resident of East Ferris Township.

OPP were setting up on Village Road where ten minutes after they were ready, a vehicle drove up and it was determined that the driver had consumed alcohol while driving.

47 year old Angela Geiger has since been charged with Driving with More Than 80mgs of Alcohol in her Blood.

Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle was impounded for 7.

She was then released on a Promise to Appear and will attend the Ontario Court of Justice on January 12, 2016.

OPP wish to remind everyone it is against the law to drink and drive.

In December, the North Bay OPP arrested and charged 5 drivers for drinking and driving offences.
