The Worst Loss for The Battalion this Season

A 12-2 defeat at the hands of the Barrie Colts in Barrie last night.

Barrie got off to a 2-1 lead about 8 minutes into the game and after that point, it was all Barrie.

The Colts would score 4 more times in the first period alone, and then score 3 in the second and third. Kevin Labanc stole the show with a 7 point night with 3 goals and 4 assists.

A bunch of other Colts had multiple points, while the Battalion managed a goal in the first and another in the third. Their final goal was with 4 minutes remaining in the game, when they were already down 11 points.

Jake Smith started in net but was pulled after allowing 5 goals in 16 shots. Jake Kmet made 32 saves on 39 shots.

The Battalion take on the colts again this afternoon at Memorial Gardens.
